Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is Vietnam at its most dizzying: a high-octane city of commerce and culture that has driven the country forward with its pulsating energy. A chaotic whirl, the city breathes life and vitality into all who settle here, and visitors cannot help but be hauled along for the ride.
Once upon a time, Mui Ne was an isolated stretch of shoreline where pioneering travellers camped on the sand. Times have changed and it's now a string of beach resorts, which have fused into one long coastal strip. These resorts are, for the most part, mercifully low-rise and set amid pretty gardens by the sea. The original fishing village is still here, but tourists outnumber locals these days. There are a handful of luxury hotels (and a smattering of cheap guesthouses) but Mui Ne is mainly a midrange resort.
Day wise plan:
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL + HALF DAY CITY TOUR
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City!! The driver will be welcoming you at Saigon airport; it takes us 15 minutes driving to the hotel then check-in at hotel and relaxes. Later the tour guide will pick up and transfer you to explore the central Post office, designed by Gustave Eiffel, and the Notre Dame Cathedral, inspired by its counterpart in Paris. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum which presents a partial, but riveting, view of the American war, as it is known in Vietnam, Independence Palace, Ben Thanh market. Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay. Please Note: Standard check in time is 14:00. Early check in is subject to availability of the hotel.
DAY 2: CU CHI TUNNEL (B,L & D)
Morning enjoy Breakfast at hotel. Our driver will pick you up at your hotel and start Cu Chi Tunnels Tour. Upon arriving at Cu Chi tunnels, you will learn more about the mystery of Cu Chi Tunnels by watching a documentary film. The video will partly show you how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Witness and discover the system of tunnels deep underground, can withstand the destructive power of the bomb attack from the US military. Discover Hoang Cam smoke-less stove, secret hide-outs, fighting bunkers, dangerous booby traps and rice paper workshop. Then, you will be served special tea and cassava which are guerrilla’s food during the war. Have break time to relax or try shooting a variety of Vietnam War era weapons such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Finish the tour, and back to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – MUI NE (BY BUS) + JEEP TOUR
Morning after the breakfast, our representative will Pick up you from Ho Chi Minh City in the morning, and depart for Mui Ne. As we reach Mui Ne, Check in. Afternoon driver with a jeep car will pick up you and start the tour.
Jeep tour: Bau Trang – Flying Sand Dunes – Fishing Village – Fairy Stream.
Later return back to the hotel in Mui ne for overnight stay.
DAY 4: MUI NE – HO CHI MINH CITY (BY BUS) –DEPARTURE (B)
Morning,After the breakfast at hotel, our driver will pick up and take you to the Ho Chi Minh city and drop at airport for your flight to back with sweet memories.
