Vibrant Vietnam: From Ho Chi Minh City to the Heart of the Mekong Delta

Day-1:
Ho Chi Minh City Arrival – City Tour

Welcome to Vietnam!!! Upon arrival at Danang airport, meet and greet by our representative who will transfers you to the hotel, check in to the hotel. Later proceed for city tour , with visit to the highlights in Ho Chi Minh city such as the Reunification Palace, a palace of old President in South of Vietnam during the American war; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, the two sites that we can’t ignore when we visit the city. Later have dinner at Indian restaurant and Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Note: standard check in time is at 02pm.

 

Day-2:
Cu Chi Tunnels

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for to the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

Later, we can go to the shooting range where we can try to fire real bullets: (costs US$3/bullet). Back to the city centre for the Lunch.

In the afternoon, we visit the famous Ben Thanh market, this bustling and well-organized market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dai. Later have dinner at Indian restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day - 3:
Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta

Morning after the breakfast at hotel, you will be driven to the Mekong Delta and take the boat ride on small canals to visit some local cottage industries, fruit orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit, honey tea, and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. Lunch at Indian restaurant by the Mekong River . Later of the day, you will be return to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day-4:
Departure

Morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out from hotel and transfer to airport for your flight, back to home with sweet memories.
