Vietnam's capital races to make up for time lost to the ravages of war and a government that as recently as the 1990s kept the outside world at bay. Its streets surge with scooters vying for right of way amid the din of constantly blaring horns, and all around, layers of history reveal periods of French and Chinese occupation – offering a glimpse into the resilience of ambitious, proud Hanoians.
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel. After short rest, we will take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter then enjoy Water Puppet show. Dinner at nice local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.DAY 2: HANOI ORIENTATION
After breakfast at hotel, we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex including his mausoleum, his Museum which dedicated to his life, his simple house-on-stilt, the Presidential Palace and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Our next stop is Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dated from 11th century.After lunch, we visit the Museum of Ethnology, the best museum in Hanoi. The rest of the day will be free for shopping in the Old Quarter. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.DAY 3: HANOI – BAI DINH PAGODA – TRANG AN – HANOI
Today, we will drive to Ninh Binh Province and visit Bai Dinh Spiritual and Culture Complex, the largest Buddhist pagoda complex in the North of Vietnam. After lunch, we take a pleasant boat rowing in Hoang Long River to visit Trang An Eco-Tourism complex. The complex is surrounded by picturesque landscape with thousands of hectares with more than 100 caves which can be explored by boat. In the late afternoon, we return to Hanoi for dinner and overnight stay.DAY 4: HANOI SHOPPING – DEPARTURE
Free time for shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
