Day 1

 

Arrival Madurai - Kumbakonam

 

Upon your arrival at Madurai Airport or Madurai Railway Station in the early morning, you will be greeted by our local tour representative.

 Later Drive to Kumbakonam (approximately 180-200 km, 3-4 hours).

Check in to your accommodation in Kumbakonam.

Visit prominent temples in Kumbakonam, such as the Adi Kumbeswarar Temple , the Nageswaran temple, Mahamaham Tank and Sarangapani Temple.

Explore the historic and religious sites in the town.

Later return back to the Hotel and Overnight stay in Kumbakonam.

 

Day 2

 

Kumbakonam - Nagapattinam - Thanjavur

 

After breakfast, depart for Nagapattinam (approximately 75-80 km, 2 hours).

Visit the Nagapattinam Temples , including the Kayarohaneswarar Temple, Soundaryaraja Perumal Temple, Nellukadai Mariamman Koil and Sikkal Singaravelar Temple.

Proceed to Thanjavur (approximately 100-110 km, 2-3 hours).on the way you can visit Alangudi Guru Temple.

Check in to your accommodation in Thanjavur

Visit the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Back to the hotel and Overnight stay in Thanjavur.

 

Day 3

 

Thanjavur - Chettinadu - Rameswaram

 

After breakfast, depart for Chettinadu (approximately 80-100 km, 2-3 hours).

Explore the Chettinad region's magnificent mansions and heritage.

Visit Chettinad Palace, the Vairavanpatti Temple, Ilayathangudi temple, Pillaiyarpatti Lord Ganesh Temple and the Iraniyur temple.

Continue your journey to Rameswaram (approximately 170-180 km, 3-4 hours).

Check in to your accommodation in Rameswaram.

Overnight stay in Rameswaram.

 

Day 4

 

Rameswaram - Madurai 

 

After breakfast, Visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, Five-faced Hanuman temple ,a significant pilgrimage site.

Depart for Madurai Airport (approximately 170-180 km, 3-4 hours).

Check into the hotel and freshup.

Visit  Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, The Koodal Azhagar Temple and Thirumalai Nayak Mahal.

Later back to the hotel and Overnight stay in Madurai.

 

Day 5

 

Departure

 

Morning after Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai Airport Or Madurai Railway Station  for your return journey timings.
