Up until the year 330 Istanbul was known as Byzantium, and then until 1453 Constantinople. Its current name of Istanbul only came into being on the 28th March 1930. Istanbul was the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire, and later of the Ottoman Empire.
DAY 1:
ISTANBUL - ARRIVAL DAYWelcome to Istanbul!!! Upon our arrival at Istanbul International Airport, your guide will meet, assist and transfer you to the hotel. Istanbul was the capital city of Byzantium & Roman Empires and Ottoman State. It is a most fascinating city, which actually crosses two continents Europe and Asia. It is a city of amalgamation of museums, bazaars, minarets, mosques, churches, palaces, and restaurants catering to every one’s taste, customs and fifteen million people. Check in into the prebooked hotel at 02PM and Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2:
ISTANBUL CITY TOURMorning after the hotel breakfast, we have Istanbul City Tour. Our first visit will be HIPPODROME. Ancient Hippodrome was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Than we will visit SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE. Across from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, it was built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Our next visit will be HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE. The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque is the greatest surviving example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years, it was once the largest church in the world, decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Today it is a mosque. You can see Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque from outside. Lunch break at 13:00 pm. After the lunch, TravelShop Group will take you to the ALI PASAZADE which is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping. Here you will find; Exotic Spices and Herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods in Souvenir Shops and stores. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

DAY 3:
SAPANCA MASUKIYE TOURMorning after breakfast at the hotel, we will get in our hotel, we move to Maşukiye, which is famous for its nature. During the free time we will give when we reach Maşkiye, our guests can spend time in cafes or walk with the beauty of nature. It is certain that you will be more vigorous with the walks with the wonderful floral scents in the forests with plenty of oxygen in the visual wonders. The times you will move away from the city's izbe air and spend in Maşkiye will leave different tastes in your life. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel and Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 4:
MINIATURK & EMIRGAN PARK TOURMorning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit the largest miniature park in the world. Miniaturk is a miniature park in Istanbul, Turkey. It was opened May 2, 2003. Miniaturk covers a total area of 60.000 m2. It is the world's largest miniature park with its 15.000 m2 model area. Miniaturk has 40.000 m2 of open space, 3.500 m2 of covered area, 2.000 m2 of pools and waterways, and a parking lot with a capacity of 500 vehicles.
The park contains 105 models done in 1/25th scale. 45 of the structures are from Istanbul, 45 are from Anatolia, and 15 are from the Ottoman territories that today lie outside of Turkey. After Miniaturk Tour, we will depart for Emirgan Park. It is spread on ridges and slopes in an area of 47.2 hectares, on the shores of the Bosphorus. It is surrounded by high walls. You have free time in Emirgan Park. After Tour, transfer back to your hotel and Overnight in Istanbul.DAY 5 – DEPARTURE
Morning after the breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel at 12:00 pm or before according to your flight timings and depart to Istanbul airport for your international flight. Back to home with sweet memories.
