Satpura Tiger Reserve also known as Satpura National Park is located in the Hoshangabad District of Madhya Pradesh in India. Its name is derived from the Satpura range. It covers an area of 524 km�.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Bhopal - Satpura
Arrive at Bhopal railway station or airport where, you will meet your guide and get transferred to your hotel in Madhai range of Satpura. It will take around 04 hours. So you will reach the spot in the afternoon.
Check-in to your room and take rest for sometime.
In the evening, be ready to engage in a boat ride on the river nearby.
Return to your hotel afterwards and retire for the night.
Satpura is a Tiger Sanctuary with some beautiful sights along with boat safari, walking safari, and canoe safari etc. Also, the Jeep safari is available in the park and is considered excellent for Bird watching, Gaurs (Indian Bison) and Sloth Bears.
Day 2 – Jeep Safari Tour
Start the day early today as you get ready to indulge in a Jeep Safari in the park. Explore the magnificent beauty of the woods to the maximum and return to the hotel after some time.
Post lunch, leave for Elephant Safari or Canoe Safari or Walking Safari as you like to know more about the park and fall in love with the replenishing nature.
Conclude the exploration by late evening and come back to your hotel for your stay.
Day 3 - Departure
Post breakfast in the hotel, check-out and proceed to Bhopal for your departure.
