Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Kolkata and proceed to your hotel. Kolkata formerly known as Calcutta is located along the banks of river Hoogly, the city is also known as "The city of Joy". Kolkata is, in every sense, the artistic, cultural and intellectual capital of the country. Check in to your hotel. In the evening proceed for a Boat Ride on the River Hoogly (1 Hr in Country Boat) at PrincepGhat - Panoromic View of 2nd Hoogly Bridge. Tonight stay at Kolkata.

 

Day 2: Kolkata City Tour

Today after breakfast proceed to full day city tour of Kolkata. Start the tour by visiting Dalhousie Square (Covering Raj Bhavan, St. John’s church, High Court, GPO, Town Hall, Writer’s Building and other important colonial buildings). Later visit Flower Market, Iconic Howrah Bridge, Jain Temple, Kumartuli (The Potter’s colony), Tagore House (Closed On Mondays & National holidays), College Street Book Market (Closed On Sundays)and Indian Coffee House (Closed On Sundays). Later return to the hotel. Tonight stay at Kolkata.

 

Day 3: Kolkata City Tour

Today after breakfast, visit remaining of the famous places in Kolkata. Start the day by visiting Kalighat Kali Temple, St. Paul’s Cathedral Church, Victoria Memorial (Closed On Mondays & National holidays).
Indian Museum (Closed On Mondays & National holidays), South Park Street Cemetery, Mother House (Closed On Thursdays & National holidays) and Biswa Bangla Gate viewing gallery. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Tonight stay at Kolkata.

 

Day 4: Kolkata - Bhubaneswar

Today after breakfast check out start to airport to travel to city of temples Bhubaneswar. After reaching Bhubaneswar, our representative will be there to welcome you. Check in to your hotel and refresh and get ready to start your journey to the city of temple Bhubaneswar. Day ends at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Bhubaneswar – Raghurajpur – Pipli - Puri

After breakfast checkout the hotel and move to the famous temple ShriLingaraj temple, Parsurameswar temple, Mukteswar temple and Rajarani temple temple.Raghurajpur - artisan village witness the local dance Gotipua (traditional dance form depicting Hindu mythology) performed by young boys dressed like girls. Next on the way visit Pipili - the appliqué work village get to know about the art. Get home some Pattachitra or colorful Chandua. Check in to the hotel. Tonight stay at hotel in Puri.

 

Day 6: Puri Sightseeing

After breakfast get ready for the holy visit of ShriJagganath Temple. Get the blessings of God, move around the temple and witness the grandeur architecture of Kalinga Dynasty. Have some delicious Prasad from the temple. In the evening visit the Puri beach relax and enjoy beautiful sunset, enjoy a quick bath or go for some adventure sports or a walk in the beach shore return back to hotel.

 

Day 7: Puri - Satpada - Puri

After breakfast move to a short trip to watch Irrawaddy Dolphins at Satpada small village located in the shores of Chilika lake(UNESCO World natural site famous for its Wetlands, wintering ground and Irrawaddy dolphins). Get into your boat with safety jackets and start to move inside the lake watch carefully you could be lucky to get a sight of the Dolphins. After a tiring day return back to hotel in Puri.

 

Day 8: Puri - Konark - Bhubaneswar

Morning after breakfast, drive towards Ramchandi temple passing through Marine drive road a scenic coastal road of 30km. Next visit Konark Sun temple - one of the famous UNESCO world heritage site dated back in 13th century with its unique 24 Wheels which work as Sun dial and work as per sun rays. Get some photographs, move around the temple. In the evening return back to hotel in Bhubaneswar.

 

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast check out the hotel and start to airport for your return journey.
